I found Ben Marshall with Cairns Luxury Guides to be punctual, very professional and far superior to others.  His vehicle is immaculate and very comfortable with refreshments in cooler. I was very impressed by his wealth of knowledge on the various sites, plants, wildlife and all things Australia.  There are quite a few things that set him apart from most private guides. Ben has arranged with the local community to take his guests to a beautiful waterfall in the Daintree National park. A totally private experience.  Other guides do not have this opportunity. They have to take their guests to a waterfall with mass market tourists everywhere.   I strongly recommend Ben Barshall, Cairns Luxury Guides.

The itinerary was perfectly paced, starting with a prompt 7:00 AM pickup at our hotel, and concluding with a peaceful private cruise on the Daintree River spotting crocodiles. We especially appreciated the early visit to Mossman Gorge to avoid the crowds, the intimate wildlife photo session, and the excellent three-course lunch at Silky Oaks Lodge. Ben is a knowledgeable and professional guide whose local expertise made the entire day feel seamless and well-curated. Two water falls, 3 places to swim, saw palatapuss, native birds, gave us random facts through out the day! He waited on us hand and foot. After learning about our interests, Ben put together an amazing itinerary in Daintree and Chillagoe along with a night in a lovely Eco resort. His communication before the trip was great and he thought of everything to make the tour comfortable and care free for us. Ben is very knowledgeable about the area and his desire to share the beauty and history along with his friendly attitude made it feel as if we had a friend  showing us around. Highly recommend.
